This unit revisits the topic of legal and illegal drugs and explores the impact that drug misuse can have on an individual and a community. The students will learn about the impact of class A drugs and consider situations they might face in the coming years which will require them to make positive choices to ensure their own safety and well being

This unit explores the importance of respectful relationships. It considers how we can build positive relationships and how we can protect our selves when in a loving relationship. The unit teaches about the importance of sexual health and how to be safe; the impact of pornography upon individuals and society; Problems surrounding fertility & contraception.

This unit develops themes that were explored in year 12. Students will explore Mental Health and learn about how to manage stress. They will also consider their physical health and explore the importance of maintaining fitness to support emotional wellbeing.

Students will develop their knowledge and understanding of personal finance. Topics covered in this unit include payment methods; budgeting, borrowing and risk.

Students will be able to give advice to others who may be making poor financial choices.
